During the day, Free appears as any other rosy maple moth. Being both deaf and incapable of flight has not stopped him from living a rather normal, if a bit secluded, life. To those who have befriended him, Free just seems a bit boring and rough around the edges.
It's during the night when Free removes his false wings and disappears inexplicably. A recent string of missing cases made his friends fear for his safety, only a few individuals having some suspicions of him engaging in more than just late night walks.
