After managing to escape a fruit platter and hide in the freezer, Myrtille eventually woke up from his cryogenic sleep and just wanted to live life. When Granada appointed herself as fruit queen, he quickly became her adoptive big brother. There's really no danger to protect her from, so the blueberry just picks her up and carries her around most of the time. 

They're very close and care deeply about each other.
